  • A Daisy a Day
'A Daisy a Day' is a Block of the Month Quilt, I have appliqued bears using acrylic fur, which I think gives it a unique look and the bears look cute and lifelike.... Not to have bears all over the quilt I incorporated my favorite flowers 'Daisy's'.....and some large ric rac...This was one of those projects that once i started I could not stop, there were many nights up til 1am sewing.... Check out all individual block photos in photo album..

Biography

Hi there I am Jo,
Well I think I might have tried every craft under the sun....
I started off with an arts major in technical school many moons ago...from that I was not sure what to do so I went to TAFE and started a engineering Dipolma....I started a drafting career which i have done on and off for 22 years...

In 2001 I started my own business with a girl friend...this was "Sew Liddle Thyme"...we started doing home shows and market nights selling some crafty things we had made, this was getting very busy so we decided to open a shop, which was in Mt Evelyn.....This was great fun and a lot of new friends and happy faces were around, we just loved sitting around in our cosy shop teaching patchwork and other crafty ideas while having a few cups of coffee or tea and a lot of great yarns....miss it....
I learnt a lot being in the shop however there was not a great deal of time for design, so since we left the shop in Dec 2006 I have been designing and a new business is born..."Sewjo Designs".....

I have three beautiful children...Jessica aged 21, Samantha aged 19 and Jackson aged 13...I have 1 dog named scruff and 2 cats named Lizzie and Lucy....and we are all happy little vegemites...
